My 2 years on the loom was on the 1 of May, but I say the 5th is still close enough without calling it officially late

I was trying to thicken my hemline by small monthly trims for about half a year now, but the difference after such a trim was too samll to see, and it made me feel that I don't gain length, so desided to change strategy again - trimming about 1-1.5'' every 6 months. That way I'll see some growth and won't feel like I'm stuck in one place
When I took another pic earlier tooday I noticed I'm at fingertip! I had no idea... I was sure it hasn't grown much with all those trims I did... What a nice surprise for my hairniversary

I'm rambling... Time to put up the pics, LOL

Congrats on you second Loomiversary, Night Kitten! That calls for a happy dance:

(Multiple ones, that is ) You've got some enviable length there! The pics show that you had some good growth, even with the trims. I think you have ample reason to be proud I know that we are at lengths where one is quite unsure what to do - to maintain a length in hopes of thickening up that hemline, or grow longer with fairytale ends. I'm glad that you are adamant in growing - the results you have are well worth it
And it was great to have you here these two years! I hope there will be many more.

Hair type: 2b/M/C/iii
Current length: classic
Primary goal: thickening the ends

Hair journal:
http://www.network54.com/Forum/663765

Routine:
- NW/SO on the scalp, with periodical length
washes (Alverde birke-salbei shampoo for the length)
- brushing, scritching, preening and massaging daily
- occasional S&D trims
- trimming the ends whenever they start looking funny
Hair type: 2b/M/C/iii
Current length: classic+
Current goal: knee

Current routine:
~ alternating a NW/SO (no water/sebum only) routine with occasional washes. I use the techniques of NW/SO (brushing, scritching and preening) almost daily, but I do a shampoo wash every month or two.

Products and tools:
~ Alverde Birke-Salbei shampoo
~ occasionally oiling the ends with either coconut or almond oil; currently experimenting with argan oil
~ an assortment of BBBs
~ Tangle Teezer/Tangle Angel & wide-tooth comb
~ hair friendly hair toys, for putting up hair and forgetting about it
