Another quick and easy style for you to try is again, a twist on the retro style. Look for the pictures with numbers in white here.

1a shows hair going up into a high pony tail

1b shows hair secured in tail by small, thin scrunchi.

Step 2- wrap hair around scrunchi as though you are making a bun.

I wrap once, but depending on length, you may wish to wrap twice. It's a free style, so you can wrap once and make more loops, or wrap twice and make less. As shown in picture, wrap as one loop of bun and pin in place as shown in pictures 3a and 3b.

You will then make your next loop. You wrap your hair around your fingers if need be. See pic 4a.

Step 4b, slide fingers out and pin in place. Continue making loops and going down the back of the hair. You may not need many loops depending on the size you make them. You can make them wide or narrow. Mine are medium loops.

For your last loop, at your ends, see picture 5a, wrap the ends of your hair round and round your finger, until you've run out of hair and made a nice tiny loop.

Slide your finger out and position in place, secure with bobby pin. See pic 5b.

Your hair will then be complete. You can add hair jewels as I did to each side of the top bun, or spice it up with your own creations. See pictures 6a for completed hair style side view, and 6b for back view. I hope you enjoy these styles. They are easy, quick, and pretty... at least to me.

Starting my growing journey all over again after health issues took a major toll on my hair.
17/25.5/35+ - Type 2C-3bMii Somewhat fine, wavy (with corkscrew curls on the underneath layer), natural color is light brown with gold and red highlights. Previously used henna for years, but had it highlighted out over a couple of years. Currently trying to decide what to do as far as continuing with that to keep up the roots or doing something different.

Products Used:
Aubrey Organics S&C - my most favorite, but currently using Neways Second Chance Shampoo, SheaMoisture's High Porosity Moisture-Seal Masque,
Sally Beauty Generic Value Product's version of Matrix Biolage conditioner (as a leave in, not rinsed out)
Aubrey Organics Chia Gel
Vinegar/herbal rinses
Oils: Jojoba, Castor, Coconut & essential oils
MP Popular Mix Brush
MP & Madora wide tooth combs
Vitamins/Minerals/Herbal supplements
