#1 Put your hair in a ponytail. High or low.
Put a hairstick horizontally.

#2 Now divide your hair into two parts.
Take each part and put it up, over and behind the hair stick. Or come behind and up the hairstick. Either direction works fine.
Now wrap them in opposite directions around the ponytail holder and looping around hairstick.

#3 You can go any direction, wrapping around for a different look each time.

#4 Add pins, scrunchie, claws or whatever to secure the bun on top or underneath.

I want to be included too...can I, can I?? Haha! That's great to show numberous people with the same style. It really shows how it works for a variety of hair types.
My pic is on the growing out board, but I'll add it here too.

I used a wooden twist hairstick I got from Germany through Madeleine and secured it with a wide headband like those used by Equestrian.

Thanks for the style, this is my new favorite style. It is so comfortable and easy. My usual bun can be painful after a full day, but this one lasts forever, is secure, and causes no pain. I love it.

I wasn't able to take a picture of this, but I tried it last night...and though it was messy, it worked. And it felt really nice.

I'll be using this one more often.

But I don't think I'd be able to pull this one off with a standard-length hair stick. My hair is about 55" and slippery. Love this site, though!
