only discovered this band last year with their album "here" released in 2016

I absolutely love them! saw them twice this year, both excellent gigs

my personal favorites: don't look back, radio, the concept, the darkest part of the night...

anyone else rates them?

Both Noel Gallagher and Kurt Cobain state them as a massive influence. Just listen to Bandwagonesque and you can hear it.

They're ace. I listen to Grand Prix the most, but their scuzzy early stuff is just as good and Bandwagonesque is pretty much perfect. The most recent album is their best since Songs From Northern Britain - a real return to form.

Every time I see them live I feel like I'm visiting an old mate or something. My taste in music shifts a lot but Teenage Fanclub are just always there.

Aint That Enough is pretty much the perfect pop song. So profound too... "Here is the sunrise, aint that enough?". Beautiful. Admiral Fallow tried to emulate it with a tune called Isn't This World Enough? which is also wonderful.

They're also wonderfully democratic. Three songwriters each getting four songs per album. Nobody being billy big bollocks. Norman's songs tend to be the best mind you.
