Its official west is opening on Friday even though currently they are only reporting 14inches at west but we will see. NOAA says snoqualmie pass should get up to a foot today and tonight. So that would end up being at least 2 feet by Friday morning which is consistent with how much snow they normally open west up with.

The snow is DEEP and quality is as good as it gets. 12 degrees and snowing hard when I was digging out my parking space and more then 3' of snow on the ground.

I'd guess Central and West will be open this weekend.

Jack - Correct you are! The "Operations Schedule" page shows they will both be open 9-4 Sat & Sun. http://www.summitatsnoqualmie.com/info/winter/hours.asp>

Will Silver Fir Express be open? Time will tell, I suppose...

Just speculation, but even with the new stuff most of the steeper SF runs'll probably need to be roped off since they were very boney and down to the dirt/brush base last weekend when we snowshoed up lower Outback. It'll depend on the count too so we'll see.
This next "blizzard" that's rolling in Sat night/Sun should fill things in nicely though, so if SF isn't running this weekend, it will probably be rolling after Xmas.
