It was raining through the night, but this morning it has changed back to snow and is coming down pretty good as of 7am.

Statement as of 3:25 AM PST on November 18, 2009

... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 4 PM this afternoon to 4 PM PST Thursday...

The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow across the Cascades... which is in effect from 4 PM this afternoon to 4 PM PST Thursday.

Heavy snow is expected to develop across the west facing slopes of the north and central Cascades this evening and continue through Thursday. Through this timeframe snowfall totals of 2 to 3 feet are expected over the north Cascades and volcanoes with around 1 to 2 feet across the central Cascades. Snow levels will be near 2500 feet through tonight then rise to 3500 feet north and 4500 feet central Cascades Thursday. Temperatures in the passes will remain near or
below freezing with southeast flow... leading to a wintry mix at Stevens and Snoqualmie Pass.

About 10" of heavy snow this morning and still falling. Predicting another 6"-10" today.
