I've added some Loup Loup photo's so far. I'll add the Lookout Pass pic's and a few more Loup pics when I get a chance.

Thats a pretty nice looking spot, reminds me of some of the small ski areas in New England in the 60's-70's that are gone now like Snow Valley in Vt. Were the crowds pretty small?, parking lot looks tiny.

Here is another community ski area I need to check out. Since visiting Lookout Pass and The Loup and having such a good time, I'm thinking of making this a thing to do ever year. Cost is cheap to do these little areas.

This place has one double chair to access its 2110' vertical, and it was purchased from Snoqualmie Pass in 2001. Funny, the lodge has no running water from what I read and is run entirely by volunteers.

It would be great to load up the RV and do a small ski area tour...I wonder how many of these little places are out there.

Next year I want to hit Lookout/Turner/Loup/Mission on a one week trek. I've never been to Mission Ridge, the Spokane resorts or Bluewood either.

Jack, you will love Mt. Spokane. I started skiing there in 1956 (this is my 54th year of skiing!)We are going to the Loup next week and Bluewood in March as those are the only areas in Wash. I have never skied in all these years! Mission Ridge is a cruiser with something for everyone--sort of like a mini-Sun Valley--you'll love it too!! I'll give you a full report when we get back. 2 weeks ago, Timberline was superb! By the way, the area was very nice about turning off the beepers--2 other neighbors called to say "thanks" (this was the only problem this year (the long nights of grooming as it hasn't happened the other years so badly)(we're going on 20 years this year of full time living at Hyak and we still LOVE it!! This weekend's event will be truly exciting!)

Thanks for the link. I totally forgot about that place, mostly because I didn't think it had a chair lift. There is another are called Entiat but I don't know if I want to deal with a tow-only resort??
