It is progressing. Should be a nice, bluebird day! I'm sure they will push the snow around enough to cover the creeks below for lift access since it is only needed for this one day.

They worked 48 hours and disregarded the Kit. County noise ordinance for 2 days while everyone who lives here and works in the AM got no sleep. I have the number of the right person to call. They were very nice and apologized for the constant noise. I told them we are used to this every year and usually it does not matter because they end at 10 PM promptly, but somebody doesn't know the rules and they heard from the top. I thanked the lady who called for all residents having to hear the beeper for 48 hours straight!! It looks solid today and they built it up as high as last year's.

In the past, they haven't gone non-stop--it's been more decent--I guess they figured no one lives up here full time--they certainly were cordial to me and I thought that was nice

I don't hear the noise, but I'm not as close to the slopes. I'd think that in normal grooming at night the rigs don't go backwards so much so noise is not much of an issue. With the pipe build they are going backwards quite a bit causing the 'beep beep' and there are multiple groomers together on that project. (in response to Hyaker)

Snapped a couple of photo's with my phone this AM on my way to work. Looks to be pretty much done, but still a little work to do before tomorrow.

I think it is great that the Summit...would put forth this effort to do something at HYAK this year...looks like the sun is going to be out full force this weekend....
