I looks like they didn't go into debt for it and I like that! I had a wedding in a park and started a trend in dh's family.

So good to see him getting married! He seems to have made remarkable progress in recovering from his injuries. I am happy for both of them.

It was very lowkey. Bretts sister and brother stood up with them. It was performed at the hospital gardens by the hospital chaplain. Very very cheap. They had a store bought sheet cake and some food brought in for the 10 guests they had. Last week the army also had him go and pick out a vehicle and they paid for it and had it installed with handicap controls.
He will be home this weekend. He wanted to come home quietly but his mom called all the news crews and a parade is planned. He is a lil embarassed. Our side of the family plan to spend new years eve with him at a family party in his honor. He liked that idea more than all the other hoopla.
