My kinda thread - A cheap Hank Williams collection, currently playing through my media player (Headphones on as it's late).

I don't think I've once had anything in my CD player when responding to that topic, as when I'm online I listen through my comp.
If they don't merge this topic I need not feel I am cheating anymore. Result!

I never listen to cds - even when I do get suddenly anachronistic and buy a cd, I just rip it to my hard drive and the cd goes back on the shelf. Why waste time with obsolete technology?

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't Terminators from 2015 i.e. non obsolete on the grounds that they haven't been invented yet?

I vote for merging the other threads into THIS - I also used to log my mp3 listening into the CDs thread and felt vaguely shabby about the misrepresentation.

I think except for vinyl, there's little distinction between computer, playa, cd whatevah. So unify the thread into a general-purpose one like this.

I'll start the trend: I'm listening to this on CD. Weird surprising music that keeps me awake while trying to read my boring Lawrence Norfolk novel.

I'm no way near that handsome, and as far as I can tell, that guy doesn't have any tentacles either.
