My new e.p 'Palace of Swords II' is due for release v. soon. It's going to be a limited edition 3''CD on the Reverb Worship imprint. (More details to follow)

Anyway, here's a video for one of the new tracks, 'The Castle Spectre':

Very good, fun song and video. It has got a lot of repetition (visually and musically), but, hey, we are all Fall fans here, so that turns out to be a plus. Recommended.

Thanks for listening/watching, CT - it's very much appreciated.

I'm pleased to hear that you like the song.

Repetition is the spice of life. :)

Was this the one you posted a little excerpt of awhile back? In any case, it's lovely and trancey in the best POS tradition... I'm glad you're actually getting it 'pressed.' B)

Thanks for your kind words, Flexi.

The earlier excerpt was actually my version of Neu!'s 'Lila Engel' which is set to appear on the Fruits de Mer album 'Head Music'. Details here:

Here's a couple of reviews that have appeared for the last Palace of Swords e.p. (You might need to scroll down a bit for the first one - it's quite a long page)

http://www.terrascope.co.uk/Reviews/Rumbles_MAY_12.htm

http://mratavist.wordpress.com/2012/05/ ... swords-ii/

It's been picking up a fair bit of radio play as well.

It's about time Talent was recognized, good on ya, PL. 3" CDs, eh? How cool, they are indeed rare. That's great you have your 'Deer Park' on there...

On that first review page, before the Palace Of Swords review, there's mention of a label known as 'Detective Instinct Records.' :)

Oh, I never noticed that. I'll need to have another look!

I'll send copies of The Frenz Equivalent to a few of these reviewers when it's released. It would be good to see what they think of it. :)

I'm pleased to say that my track 'The Castle Spectre' is featured on the new Active Listener Sampler. There's a lot of interesting stuff here, so it's well worth a listen:

Apologies for the shameless plug. :)

Here's a taster of what to expect: http://youtu.be/7EaLoFfHS-w

Right, time to get going with my track for the FOF covers project...

Things have been a bit quiet at Palace of Swords HQ recently - mainly due to the fact that my porta-studio hasn't been working properly.

However, I have just been lucky enough to have had one of my earlier tracks re-mixed by Joe Foster (Television Personalities, in-house producer and co-founder of Creation Records).
