Strictly speaking, yes. But if a fan of dull, muddy indie music reeled off a bunch of albums that fit that tag to me and I said I didn't like any of them and the closest thing I could find that fit that description was PBL, they'd probably conclude that I wasn't a fan of dull, muddy indie music.
It's a matter of degrees, shirley? I'm sure the biggest fan in the world of dull, muddy indie music doesn't like all dull, indie music, but those instances where they are not fans don't negate the fact that they're a fan of some dull, muddy indie music. The same would apply to anyone who only likes one album of dull, muddy indie music of all the dull, muddy indie music they've heard. Ergo, they is fans. -_-

That was voted out ages ago.

And a coat is advisable today.

For all its faults, PBL's my favourite early 80s Fall LP. And Garden's possibly my favourite song on it, although some days that prestigious accolade belongs to either Tempo House or I Feel Voxish.
I actually thought at the time it was a big disappointment after Room To Live. Great content overall mind, just not good versions, though NOI and IFV are good versions and recordings.

Tempo House used to be good to hear live but has always been a bit of a slog to listen to as there's just not enough going on musically. Backdrop is such a masterpiece by comparison - an entirely baffling omission.

I've heard varying accounts of why there's no studio version of Backdrop, although the only one I can remember at the moment is that they were bored of it by the time came to record PBL.

Dull, muddy indie music? Guess I have a different definition. Garden easily here.

Garden

I love Mountain Energei - particularly the Øyafestivalen version. But it can't compete with the mighty Garden,

I'd happily see Garden win the whole thing.
