From memory some of my faves of the 90s. But which one is best? Free Range and Paranoia Man beckon, but tonight I am tempted toward the left field, and Arid Al's Dream gets the nod. While typing "left field" I of a sudden remembered Noel, and decided not to add it in since the fervor of its proponents is well known and I want to see what else gets people excited. Actually, for that reason I am also ditching Free Range, I fear a landslide in that direction.

Wow, Paranoia Man is certainly worthy as fuck, for my money, but I'm surprised at the landslide.

Who's gonna do this Cup?

I also still like the Brownies to TLC Tour Cup idea.

If only the shards would relocate back in place
In your blue green and grey heart
Bedecked in lace

I love the way MES delivers those lines.
I'd vote for Ten Houses above most songs, regardless of decade.

  Must admit I got totally confused here with the poll option. No excuse really on my part because it clearly says '90's poll - and Fall Heads Roll is my favourite Fall album of the '00s so I should have twigged it wasn't 'What About Us' :D

Wouldn't have voted for 'So What About It'. Although I think PMICSR is great , I'd actually have voted for 'Reckoning' - a song somewhat hidden away on MCR that I came to really love during the recent Fall cup. Great vocal by Mark, and a top tune.

Everything has at least one vote, so that's encouraging (not many people voted though). Today it is still "Arid Al's Dream," which is surprising considering how much I love "Paranoia Man." But I think I feel about AAD the way Deus Erac feels about "Noel's Chemical Effluence"...I mean, not literally, which would probably be impossible, since he loves that song more than I love my own child*. But for me it's their under-heralded psychedelic gem.

*Urgh, I can't let that stand without a disavowal, I take it back. Funny how I am almost superstitiously repelled by saying something like that.

I like the results of this, I think I like Paranoia Man ever so slightly more than 10 Houses most days, maybe more like 13-12.75, but still not bad...

So who's gonna do the 90s Poll, and when?

My YZN Cup feels like ancient forum history at this point . . . And Goho's Fall Cup is positively Precambrian.

Who shall carry the mantle of mindless organized entertainment and argument here???
