The Beaver issue was late 81 or early 82.. Might still be a well looked at issue that's still in the top draw of the CO of IABs desk in 1 PP i.e., unless Campisi took it when he retired for his personal collection!
She was then buried in the 19th pct station house until the departments legion of decency on the 14thg floor at 1PP can figure out how to deal with this..and to hide her from the press..
CB was so short that she needed a cushion to drive an RMP to reach the peddles..
19 pct station house....couple of days, maybe a week after the story broke...On her meal hour, she took the keys of one of the Sgts RMPs off the desk without the DO seeing it or giving her permission and drove to east end ave to buy rice & beans.. Driving back on one of the east side cross streets, with a firm grip on the wheel so that she could reach the peddles and see over the dashboard, she saw the light was changing and tried to beat it...She pushed the gas peddle down with the tip of her right foot..Rmp struck a pot hole that she could not see.. RMP veered right and she bounced off of about 5 high end ($$$) vehicles all legally parked, then crashed into the side of a building on the same side.. RMP was totaled!
She was thrown around the inside of the RMP like a rag doll, but no injuries!
First of the reported & numerous calls over the radio....
"Reports of an RMP collision, possibly stolen, child driver dressed as a Police officer!"
I was driving one of the 19 Sgts (RA) when this happened...That accident was the K-Y jelly that sent her to the trial room!
