Contribute please. But as far as I know the rule is still in place. I can't quote it verbatim. But it is not limited to fund raising events.
Years ago, we would 'buck-up' when someone got jammed up. As I recall, there was an IO addressing that as well as rackets. It was still done, but quietly. If the rule is still in place, why not be on the safe side and have the wife do it.

If you have contributed, you will see a large percentage of anonymous donors.
I'm out , but as far as I know some such rule is still in place . If it is, why memorialize breaking on a public website?

I don't give a rat's azz if there is or isn't a rule. The job doesn't tell me what I can do with my own hard earned money. They can blow me.

Well that's you. One person. Sounds like you guys are saying there IS a rule.
The main thinge is this man gets the help he needs . The job knows full well this money is coming from cops, retirees and their families.
