I love cat fights, most guys do. I wish I could have seen this one. Of all the cat fights Ive seen Ive never seen two coppett's go at it,Tho Ive known of a few I just had the bad luck of not being there. Working Mids in a Bar/club district made me an expert in cat fights. I tried to never miss a one, especially in summer when their clothes are easily torn off.

I'll bet a DBL sawbuck and a fancy cigar the fight was over a guy they were both banging, and/or has been banging.

When I first came on nobody got suspended just for fist fighting. Damn man it was just a fist fight, we'd just break them up and after shift all go out for a drink. But now? With all the video? Its a big deal and your going to catch time.

We had a cop transferred into our pct from Manhattan, her nickname was “Sugar”??? As the story goes a sector car pulls up to her foot post , and sees her wailing away at someone. They were duly impressed with seeing a rookie female cop mixing it up with a perp. They get out to help and imagine their surprise when they see the “perp” is another female cop from the pct in full uniform. I worked a 12x8 w/ her one night and found out where the nickname came from she put 12 sugars into a cup of coffee. Sugar was good people though.

I saw a few fights between cops and even bosses! Even had one or two myself! No big deal, and the Rat Squad Rodents never got involved!!!

Part of keeping people in line and doing what the job cannot address with know it alls and loud mouths.

did not know that there are three year rookies on the job.

Crazy Joe once invited a quota sgt to the garage to settle a beef over the subject. The quota sgt told him not to blame him, because anybody would have accepted the rank if it was offered.

cat fights are a glorious sight.

I am willing to give 10 to 1 odds to CPD that what CPD said is incorrect. I
will put my money on the person who the two females were fighting over was another female not a male. Get with the new modern NYPD.
