Cerberus, in Greek mythology, the monstrous watchdog of the underworld. He was usually said to have three heads, though the poet Hesiod (flourished 7th century bce) said he had 50. Heads of snakes grew from his back, and he had a serpent's tail.MeznoktoZ wrote: ↑Dec 26, 2020

You are correct. In Feb of 1975? (1975 New York Telephone exchange fire - Wikipedia) , the 2nd avenue CO in NYC (13th street) had a suspicous fire which destroyed several floors and knocked out service for 200,000 subscribers including hospitals and NYPD facilities from 14th street to 35th street. We had chatter from several groups (FALN was high on the list, since we had multiple intercepts on their leadership) but the bureau came in and all of a sudden NY Tel (forefather of Verizon) security determined that is was an accidental fire, caused by gas leaking into the building from an underground cable vault. We had a couple of suspects (employees with FALN contacts) but the investigation was shut down. Old FBI tactic, if you cant solve it, make it an accident.HAPD wrote: ↑Dec 25, 2020Wireman, were not NYC Bell Telephone places attacked in the 60's and 70's? Something in my CPU is tingling.
