Having gone to a Jesuit high school, I got to go to a Giant game each season. Made me a die hard fan. Only NFL team I follow. Problem is now that I am retired in Florida only get to see occasional game, like last night. I’d rather watch Ancient Aliens than any of the other NFL teams.

Of all the sports I hope the NFL folds. I havn't watched more then a few minutes in the last few years and thats just cause my kid demands the TV room when the Bears are playing. This year he gave up on the NFL and when they start losing 20 something m/02's then they are in big trouble.
I walk the dog in the park and the crowd of kids playing organized tackle football has all but dissapeared. Good! Those kids not playing spell's disaster for the Felon league 10 years down the road cause a kid that doesn't want to play at 12yo is a young m/02 who won't give a damn about the game when he's 22yo.
When I was a kid EVERY male played tackle football. I played on National Champion kids team that traveled, a Capt. and MVP, played in HS and in the service. Only a blown out knee stopped me but now? I'd never let a kid play. As much as I loved it the game kills your brain and the NFL is full of shit as well as being a no class anti-cop, anti-American outfit.
Once upon a time the game had class. We had to bring our report cards to show the coaches and any no class action would get you kicked off the team. And the coaches , who were our role models, were all cops. The head coach was a 2nd father to me and when I came back from the service I coached myself. Back then almost none of the coaches had kids playing ; We just coached for the good time and to help the community. Now? The only coaches I see are only there to coach their own kids.

As far as I'm concerned......football season is over. ARMY beat Air Force for the C-I-C trophy and then they were denied a game in a Bowl Game. Season is over !
