What you do for healthcare in TN?
Any walk-in clinic will take just about every insurance out their, the problem comes when you need a specialist. GHI CBP Emblem Health isn't accepted by specialist in Tennessee, like if you need an Ear Nose and Throat Doctor etc. I'm waiting for the next transfer period so I can compare what I can switch to that is accepted by doctors in Tennessee. In three years I will have medicare, then that will cover me.

That's an excellent point, from what I remember, the monthly cost for a family to get any insurance except emblem/ghi was ridiculous, like $600 a month. Anyone have that list handy?

Thank you for the reply! I assume if one has a "vacation" home there they could use there insurance in emergencies outside the area. I met someone (a mail man) in Florida who said he was moving to TN for retirement and that its becoming the new Florida. The eastern part is cooler with mountains and has medical schools and taxes and energy cheap there. Apparently they have good roads in TN too. I see they have been building a lot of retirement condos in the NE part. We should start getting health providers there.

The brothers love our big white ladies in NYS North. Most don't have drivers licenses or even a car. So you see them being chauffeured around. You see a lot of white grandparent types with mixed race kids taking care of them. Mostly the black baby daddies take off after awhile or in many cases before the kid is born.

Not only are the roads good their are no potholes or toll booths and the speed limit on the interstate is 70 MPH.
Rarely do you hear a car horn and nobody gives the one finger salute that might be due to the fact that sweet looking grandma driving next to has a pocket pistol in her purse and she knows how to use it.
