Is it three unsolved bombings in the last three years. I'd hate to be in Arson/explosion these days. But hey, we can't even solve the noose on
Columbia campus. But we did get the Junior High school noose culprits.
To play devil's advocate, is it possible, in a screwed up kind of way, that this bomber did us more good than anything else. He placed a bomb in the
most heavily frequented location IN THE WORLD, was caught on camera, rode a bicycle to and from the location and got away with it...Could this be the wake up
call we all thought we received on February 26, 1993, when six people were murdered????? or the wake up call we received on September 11, 2001 when 3000 people
were murdered? or the wake up call we received when our embassies or our Navy ship was bombed? If we haven't learned our lesson by now, when will
we????????????
Oh wait, thats right, who cares who did those bombings, I have to be home tonight, American Idol is on....
Has anybody been in a precinct lately when American Idol is on? A TV moved to the desk like it is Superbowl Sunday. The PDU with the television blasted with
American Idol on while detectives ( I only call them that because they have a gold shield on their belt) writing down notes and keeping score..not on the
latest shooting, but to keep up with the voting on American Idol...I am so fvckiing embarrassed by this, it is pathetic that these people call themselves
cops!!
The moment we stop reminding each other about this dark piece of history is the moment PO Cardillo will be forgotten.
Ive been out a few years and worked with Great Cops/Units in my career, the job today 1ppc would not recognize. TV sets in pdu's and at the desk? (WTF)
needed here.
