I know in this time, what I say may mean little to you, compared to the comments of close family, friends and co-workers. However I felt this was the forum
for my comments to you. In my book the three of you are heroes! That is first and foremost. I am young to the job, yet have alot of family history both with
this job and the profession we have chosen. The fact that you three gentlemen get to celebrate with your families and sleep in your own beds tonight, honestly
feels almost as good to me as the day my daughter was born. I feel 3 brothers have been saved. As I said I only have 4 1/2 years on this job, and obviously
all other common issues with this job, guys like you are why I still have pride in saying that I am a New York City Police Officer. Sure I wish we were all
paid more, but on this job of ours we have the privilege of serving with great men like the three of you. I just wanted to take this opportunity to
congratulate you all and say JOB WELL DONE! It was unfortunate circumstances but you all acted properly and more important ADMIRABLY! I thank you all for
keeping my hope in this job alive!
