I am out of town today working so luckily did not have the misfortune of attending the game tonight. Get into my hotel room, check the internet and it's 7-1 Brandon and the game is not even out of the second.

If you look at my record of posting here I am one of your more positive posters and have preached patience along with Sput, Coogs and others.

But enough is enough. This team so far is the WORST yet because they sit on their collective asses with all of that talent. Something has to be done. I am one of the positive diehard fans and I have literally had enough.

For my fellow positive posters, I dopn't want to hear any excuses about our schedule "to be the man, you've got to beat the man", you don't run up your record against a bunch of inter-divisional patsies (not that they can even do that). Injuries, sorry again, those are all looked after and even through the bad spell they had all of the top line forwards going and weren;t scoring any goals. CN Centre ice is all screwed up and something was done (hate to see people lose their jobs but business is business). What the hell is the team going to do after this gargantuan egg???

BTW - I was in favor of keeping Cyr over Bowles. I don't know that Bowles would've done a lot better but Cyr is rapidly proving he can't carry the mail. And no, pulling out one win in Medicine Hat is not enough to sway me on that.

End of rant.

it's the coach. Heard Mike on the post game when Ron said what about the referee missed this call and that call,Mikes response, that's right Ron it's funny how you can pick up on that ( see they both know coaching!!)

Give it a rest!!!!!!!!!!!

No spark, no fight,no team work.

All that talent ,all those NHL draft picks and we get this?

Have the boys quit on Mike? Nobody is scared to come in here and play anymore,it's an easy game either way.

Sickening, game after game. When your getting outshot night after night it's coaching with all that talent.

the worst effort this year...easily. How the hell do you go from very good on Saturday night to absolute crap in only 4 days? It boggles the mind. There is a lot of negative in, around, and outside this team and it is going to be VERY hard to get out of. I can't/won't blame coaching because they have played at a very high level against the best teams in the WHL at this point (Giants-game two, The Hat, and Everett). It must be confusing as hell for anyone really involved with this team.

I don't recall EVER seeing this many guys "take the night off". I refuse to go into the names (the list is too damn long anyways), but suffice it to say I was happy to see a lot more of the young guys in the last 1/2 of the game. When there is little to no effort to truly defend, I won't blame ANY goalie. This was the worst attempt at team defense I have EVER seen.

I do agree with Ron when he indicated that Zalaski set the tone for a poor game. The non-boarding call and the non-instigator call was truly brutal. Especially after then calling Jordie "The Beast" Deagle later on for instigating. After that the bigger, stronger Wheaties ran roughshod over us at will.

Let's hope we don't have to pay to see that display again! GO COOGS! Yikes!

Great to see the ultra-positive guys in here finally calling a spade a spade! I've been waiting for my requisite 20 games before jumping back in with the reality check...but you guys are taking care of that for me tonight!

For the record...I still sat through all 60 brutal minutes from my perch behind the Cougs bench. Very tempting to leave halfway through the second and do something more fun...like clean behind the fridge or root for ear wax...but I gutted it out for the laugh.

I sit close enough to see and hear Vandy. He has totally lost this team. It's time to go. Even listening to him talk to Ron in the post-game interview, he keeps saying "apparently we're not all on the same page" or "I don't know what it takes to keep positive momentum flowing" and other such bull=pucky. Well guess what Vandy...it's called COACHING. You oughta try it sometime instead of banging the glass with your fist and throwing garbage cans in the locker room. Ed Dempsey coached like that and he was a pile of crap too--just look at what he's done to the Spruce Kings in their Royal Bank year.

Time to make somebody accountable on this franchise. 2517 in the building tonight and I GUARANTEE they will hit a new record low before too long unless there is a MAJOR shakeup.

I've said all along I didn't like them and I thought they would end up trading Cyr to find a proven guy. May happen sooner than later.

I didn't drag my butt down to watch that disgrace. Unfortunately, I suffered through the torcher on the radio.

There is really nothing I can add. Everything that comes into contact with this franchise seems to get destroyed. That would be everything from talented players with pride and optimistic fans, to a once supportive City and coaching staff with promise. It's a shame and a joke all rolled into one pathetic display.

Nothing and nobody left to blame except the CN Corporation.

I've been working on a theory that when you look at the frequent derailments...the fatal accidents...the environmental damage...the low staff morale...the poor safety and health record etc etc at the railway itself...and then they put their stamp on the Multiplex and both the ice surface and the team immediately turn to mush...that perhaps CN has something of a "reverse Midas touch"! Everything King Midas touched turned to gold...everything that CN touches turns to a pile of crap!

Listened to the broadcast over the internet(very poor by the way). Absolutely NO team effort ( players and coaching). What the hell is going on? Do we blame the goalies??? Cyr the incumbant or White who has seen very little ice time. The fans are fickle ones out here...

If I was you I'd prefer to have been proven wrong.

Although I grudgingly admit you're right. Not sure I follow you're comments below re:CN. You know they regularly generate huge profits. That doesn't seem like crap.
