Why can’t Melody Maxim answer the most basic medical questions?

In continuation from the following thread: http://www.network54.com/Forum/291677/t ... CPS+and+O2

The question on the table that Melody appears to be struggling to answer is: Under the right conditions, would it be appropriate to place the patient into an icebath, establish an open airway for ventilation, apply CPS, and circulate anit-ischemic medications and such? Granted, this will not apply to all cryonics cases.

My girlfriend might disagree with me, but I didn't know there was such a thing as time off for those of us who are committed to a better future. Of course, there may be talk of micro-bubbles, but don't be fooled by the distraction from the question.

I've lost my way on this issue. Please summarize. Thanks.

In summary, rather than have a genuine conversation about medicine and the application towards cryonics, Melody prefers to speculate on things like Propofol and set herself up to look foolish in public. Conspiracy theories and false statements don't float too well in the tar pit.

I'll slog through it myself next week if I have time. Maxim is calling for a complete halt to put down drugs in my view... but the cryonics establishment doesn't want to do that. That's my summary so far as I understand it momentarily.

Unfortunately for Melody, she didn't do her homework and doesn't know what she is talking about:

I have to weigh in with Phil on this one. Else whatever the original thread was all about, is lost in the archives.

If Melody Maxim is the medical professional that she claims to be, she should be able to answer this question in her sleep; that is, if she is a competent medical professional who has made an oath to do no harm.
