i just received mail from steinhart saying the watch is done n ready to ship...

suddenly in doubt seeing it price at eu1290...

i bought nav b at only usd 419 a yr ago...

any1 think this limited series worth the price with the modifed movement?
i've seen this movement in stowa airman original, azimuth n guinand....
now it seems not so limited....

now it seems not so limited....
is very difficult to make, very rare and hard to come by. Things like that are usually more expensive.
Chronoswiss uses this movt in one of the Timemaster models, which is not limited but costs about three times as much as the Steinhart.
Yes Stowa also uses this movt in an upcoming (end Feb.) limited Airman for about the same price as the Steinhart. The other thing that the Stowa and the Steinhart have in common, is that they're both already sold out.

guinand watch by sinn founder, gelmet sinn also selling pilot watch with this movement,
its not a limited model.... price about the same, pls check

i prefer to get stowa, because is smaller.... asian got smaller wrist..
but sold out....
malaysia share drop alot for the past 2 weeks....... ai...
will have to give up steinhart reservation, any1 want? i can let go my reservation...

of the central second Unitas movt. If you look carefully, you will see that Steinhart's has a swan's neck regulator and a more detailed geneva finish on the bridge plates. These details make a big difference in price regarding the movts, the Giunand being cheaper and not as rare.

guinand series 31 no swan neck regulator...
but the geneva stripe could b just photo doe not stand out.....

guinand home page show another movement with swan neck regulator n hand guilloche balance cock really attractive......
