44mm MM20?

I heard that there was a smaller MM20 produced a few years ago. Does anyone have any details and scans? Was it as well made as its current "big brother"? I love my MM20, but as many have noted, it is HUGE.

Are there other, similar in design, well made watches like it that are in the 44mm range?

These were 2 limited editions of RXW Marina Militare only available in Japan market only. One with crown guard and second hand while the other without it. The dial numbers were "12,3,6,9". Both size is 41mm. It is even harder to be found than current MM20 model.

I had one (long time ago, before the MM20 brought RXW to prominence), they retailed for about $500 but speculation took them to about $800 at one point.

Wasn't even worth the $500 IMO, I traded it fairly fast (crown arrangement was completely decorative).

... that's the only 'cheap' way.
