This may be risky but things have been a little slow around here lately. Our Michigan spring has seemed more like winter than winter. It seemed that the white stuff would never end, up here. That is how the election season also seems to me.
The republicans seem intent on destroying each other before the nominee ever gets to play in the big sandbox with Mrs. Bill. Are they really intent on having more of the same in the WH? Do they really want someone that should be wearing orange to be sworn in to take us further into the pit? I certainly may be wrong but this primary season seems to be leading up to a couple of real circuses this summer. If so, this primary stuff could be one huge waste of time and money which it most likely is any way. Do either of these parties really care what you or I think?
For me, it is very nauseating when any of these millionaires state that they can identify with ordinary every day Americans. Please, many of us are not that gullible. But then some of us just seem to want the freebies that are thrown out to get a vote and a round of applause. Unfortunately then the rest of us pay for that naivete.
None of these candidate gems seem to want to stop sending money to bribe all of our enemies and some of our false faced friends so that it can go back to Social Security from which it was stolen. Our veterans could actually get the care that was promised to them. Seniors could actually get the benefits that they worked so hard to earn. Medicare could actually provide medical care. This sounds so simple but that may be why the politicians can't figure it out. The campaign speeches and the debates all seem to be adding to planet warming with their hot air.
My post seems to be like this election season. It just goes on and on in one big rant with perhaps little point to it. What are your thoughts? Do you still have some after reading this hodgepodge of thoughts of mine?
Perhaps that is why baseball is America's number one sport (okay after Nascar, Chuck, and all of the race aficionados). It gets us beyond the primary season and no one really cares who wins or loses as long as there is plenty of popcorn, hot dogs, and beer.
No risk from my corner of Wisconsin, Dennis. I appreciate your efforts to livened things up. I'm still too distracted to contribute much, but hopefully that is nearing an end.
