NICE watch!! It reminds me somewhat of the Mondaine R/R watches! Elegant, simple and easy to read!
I still cannot get used to 36mm watches as hard as I tried! 38mm is the smallest I am willing to go.
You must have tiny wrists as they (36mm) seem to fit you just fine but if I strap ne on it looks like a boys watch.
My wrists are 6 3/4"

Edited to add: I for the life of me cant figure out how in the world you can wear your watches over the wrist bone like that?
I cant bend my wrist if I try wearing it like that!

42mm is my usual watch width! haha! I guess it depends on the shape of the wrist...some being wider, some being narrower....This RIKI 36mm just works on the wrist, maybe due to its heighth? I dunno...it just fits and feels fine. Just put on the 42 X-33...bent my wrist and it feels fine too! Weird huh?!

Usually my watches will shift to the wrist bone and I just move them back....kinda like a reflex action, centering the watch. This usuall happens with bracelets. With new leather straps I try to form  the lug section curve so that it fits around the wrist naturally, thus not slipping. I put the new watch/strap on the watch stand I have and this stretches the leather to more of a bend.

the Riki is only 36mm but seems wider due to thin bezel.
