This came in a Chinese watch "lot" which I acquired a couple of years ago. I decided to hunt through these watches so that I did not just wear Sea-Gulls all week.

If memory serves me correctly, Peter serviced this nice handwind watch...

Now that I am wearing this I am pretty smitted with it...

Check this beauty out!

I find this watch very interesting. A handsome; but understated watch. Classic, yet modest... Very much a watch that a hardworking person would wear. Not being a germophobe I am wearing it on the strap that the watch came with. Worn out and simple...

Look at the nice caseback. Text and details are there but you have to take the time to look for them and take them in. Again, substance but it is understated...

The dial, case, size... It all works... I really like this watch.

Something about this dial...

And... like so many vintage Chinese watches... A signed crown! I just love signed crowns...

I think I need to spend some more time with my vintage Chinese mechanicals...

What are you all wearing today?

.... after seeing his Pepsi bezeled GMT I was drawn to my 1969 GMT Master for the day ( maybe longer ). It's not on the OEM rivet bracelet now ( those things cost about a third what the watch did and I don't want to stretch it anymore than it is ) so it's on a solid link H-R oyster for wearing now.

I actually miss having a GMT in the herd... If things go well with my future career plans I will need a GMT more than ever!
