The FFF dial is sterile of any gold bling.
I may eventually put the original dial back on. Its a really nice dial IMO.
Most people who do the mod don't like the Seiko 5 logo, but I actually always liked it.
The mod for me was my love for the true BP FiftyFathoms. So for me its poor mans FF here.
But if you like the OEM dial, you should keep it as is.
But you know Jake, he can help you out if ever the need to mod.

OK.......here it is....... I dont believe I have ever posted this one before as I'll never wear it again. (WAY too small)
This was the 2nd. watch my Wife ever gave me some 15 years or so ago.....it measures in at a whopping 30mm x 5mm thick!
At the time you would NEVER catch me wearing ***** watch nor a large watch of any sort! I wore this one for many years and it's still in excellent condition! (just needs a new battery)

fresh from today's mail.

Here with its older brother, the Blue Angels Navihawk.

My smallest one is this Timex Illusion, at 28x35mm, lug tip to lug tipx6.5mm thick. No moving parts. It has LCD "hands."

Aha....... SWEET!
I definitely like the 1st. generation much better especially the bezel.
My only wish was that you could swap bands on it! Mine is the Blue leather band but I'd prefer something different and the way they are made it's impossible to do so!
