7C43 caliber 200m version....this looks to be the crossover model from the 6458 150m regular model but professional text, 200m on the dial...the caseback should show 7c43. Hope to win it tonite....

Nice catch Thian.

+1 for the bottomless mermaid. I didn't know zulu's came undone while diving?
LOL.

Cheers, Dave.

Actually, I think I had one of those.
It was cool, but beat to hell and tad small for my tastes.

Boomtown

I have the Citizen NY2300 auto and Orient midsized auto from the 90s, so this Seiko will round out the Japanese diver midsizers. No more 6309,7548 etc... haha!

yeah cool to read up on it.
No, smaller sizes are warming up to me. I just couldn't find parts to restore it, and it looked like hell. lol.
Its actually not the right watch. Mine was the 7c43-6010. Looks close.
I dig the orange and white 6458's. Cool.

Thanks for the link.
Dave.

sourcing parts..
wrong watch? should be 7c43? Well, that one (and my former one was a crossover model to the regular 7C43 dial look.....so your pictured one is correct...as far as I know! but will check mine when it arrives...the caseback should have the 7C43 designation to match with the 200m professional dial text....

....... I`m still hanging on to my 7548. I like it but not wearing it too much lately. And it is true: they are very good movements and keep excelent time.

I picked up mine a while ago from a local flea market for $50 and it looked like this

So, I got in touch with Jake, told him what I wanted and this is what I got back

....and here is the movement

Thanks for watching

I don`t make things. I make things better !
