MRG LT version of the Casio G Shock Froggie.....
The poster just received his MRG model and suggested, to my post, that I could open the diver extension portion and then remove a link or two to fit my wrist! What a great idea......

I had a mindset, as most of us do, about what we want/must have in our chosen watches. Though I have diver extension watches, I never need them, of course!

But, since the MRG Ltd Ed. extra links is impossible to find, the poster suggestion makes sense! Since the extension part will not be seen, the look will not really distract.

So,I can now have a new battery installed, 1 link removed and see how it fits!!!

the extension part is underneath the lower clasp part...

There was one that sold on WUS last week for a really good price, I missed it.

I read about your dilemma, and possible temp solution. Its a good idea, at least you can wear it until some links can be discovered.
It'll be nice on the wrist.

The racing Revman is also a rare one. But the MRG line and particularly this Froggie LE is so well made! ..and of course in titanium, which metal I love in both the X33 and Landtrek! Since I bought it as IS for only $130usd or so, I knew it was a good price, since without battery, the shop boss could not guarranty it worked haha!

In mint condition, it is a real beaut! I put it beside my rotation group, ready to take it to my watchmaker to remove a link and install new battery. He has all the pro tools and has worked on my past Gs and froggies and Seikos and Omegas.

Dave, do you remember what the WUS one sold for?? Likely in the mid $300usd? (I will see if i can find it)

but he removed the price.
I recall it sold right away, and i missed it.
Both for $200-250 don't remember which, but it was cheap IMO.

for both around $200.
It sold so quick, I didn't have a chance.
That was like the lottery for that guy.
I like them both too.
You never know sometimes, its all timing.

any watches when the wife and I visited the store. We took our son to it for him to browse around all the trendy stuff...
Having looked at all the Gs in the showcase...I went looking for the wife...and returned several times to the showcase...the last time, my eye caught the MRG tucked behind the front row of Gs...so I called the clerk over to let me see it in hand....my heart jumped! it had no price on the tag, was mint! but no time showing for lack of active battery. I asked for a price on the MRG, the girl took it to her boss, who quoted 12,000yen, since he could not tell all functions worked without a new battery hahaha!
