what in hell certain makers are thinking of when they introduce a watch into the market place!?
I paid over $400.00 for this watch about 8 years or so ago (which I thought was a lot of money then)(still is) and it has been tremendous as far as requiring no up-keep other then a battery change awhile ago.
What I dont get is with ALL of it's complications/functions (some are utterly useless) why could they NOT have made it with a back light and better, MUCH better lume?? The lume on this Tissot is and has always been from day one..... USELESS at best. The lack of a back light is also a MAJOR drawback. Sure some 10 odd years later they finally incorporate a back light and bigger digital display into it but now the watch is well over $1000.00
I just dont get it???
What were these people thinking about??
Another thing (drawback) about this watch is the obvious lack of being able to change bands due to the odd shaped lugs! Tissot must have deliberately designed it this way so you are forced to buy one of their bands if need be!?
The newer ones are a lot better IMO.
They have back lights, lume, and lugs are different too.
Shame its limited, but still a cool watch.
I wish they were Solar powered.
