I have checked second hand and pawn shops around my area only to find a broken Seiko chrono. It kept time but that was all and they still wanted over $100.00 for it. Needless to say I don't even stop there anymore. Great find!

Quality comes with time.

Tell us all about it. Auto? Manual wind?

Edit: Never mind... I just read the other thread. Nice HEQ in the AWF house!

.... I'm at a loss as to WHY you would want to flip it ? With the motor that's in that watch and it's simple elegance you've got really one of the NICEST true DRESS watches you could want! About $200.00 of it is just in the black Aligator strap

and same size etc...I did have to replace the strap though...so that one would be the classic gentlemen's Seiko watch. As for caliber, it does have an 8J51 rare....and my Omega Seamaster preBond quartz champagne dial twin oscillators is the real honey to me haha!

Why flip? two possible reasons: to save for the Rolex ...or give the funds to the wife to save for her used grand piano! She has a MA degree from Chicago in classical piano performance...and used to practise on Steinways all the time!!! so now...she deserves a really good piano, not he electronic Kawai she has now! .....of course we need a small house to fit the grand! hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
