Monday morn and the postie delivered the ADI watch....came nicely parceled with lots of bubble wrap...pulled out the sardine can! opened it up and VOILA! My first impression of the case coloration was Titanium looking!! haha!

Set the date and time and pushed the crown back in (BTW, they had the crown out to save power!) Checked the lume and it glowed well, after 10 seconds under my desklamp. Noticed how soft the rubber strap was - no stiff Seiko strap. Also the length is perfect for my wrist. Bezel cliks 60 loud turns to the left...nice and firm. SharkieDave had reservations on the text logo name ADI, but it is not a distracting feature of the dial IMO. The 12 marker is reminiscent of Citizen watches. (movement is Miyota). Crystal lies flat with the bezel, which I prefer.

Overall? a winner for the price!!! and a shroud to boot! haha!

If you want a shrouded watch and cannot afford the TUNA Seiko, this would be a nice under $150usd bet!  Thanks to EdH for posting his mil ADI!

............. >>> I`m not sure if I like the "Adi" on the dial. I don`t think I have a problem with the name but rather the font style... But like you said, its not much of a distraction. Tha watch looks great! What are the sizes? Case, lug, thickness....

I'd like to hear your impressions of a shrouded diver over the next while.
I believe you never had a tuna, so will this push you to the next level and get one?

Its tempting, there is one Adi on the sales forums for $80.

...and for the asked price a true bargain! The hands and dial seem to be of better quality than expected, although I would prefer a black dial... now put it on a grey nato strap and you're ready to go

Thanks for sharing and enjoy your "baby Tuna"
