I was just out in the yard de-thatching the front lawn and spotted the trees on the next cul-de-sac over.
This pic was taken 2 years ago but the scene was exactly the same for about 15 minutes this afternoon

Twenty minutes later it was raining

Oh, and I am wearing my extremely rare Seiko 5 quartz. Easily spotted on my right flipper..er..wrist

many plum and cherry blossom trees still holding on....Japanese love this spring time and make special efforts to visit certain tourist spots, bring the family and lunch, lay down blue tarps and enjoy the view!!

the cherry blossoms fell like pink snow on the 'bowing deer'; scientific name Sika ... wonder of they wear watches
