I remember checking out the ana/digital Helix models similar to the X-33 as very affordable alternatives. I remember on another forum, an owner kinda reviewed it, and deemed it to be of good quality. The only down side was the integrated rubber bracelet on that one. Can't change straps.
But this one your interested here is steel bracelet also integrated. I'm not a fan of this. This version is basically an analog version as the one I mentioned. Very sporty, a little busy for my taste.
But its not too pricey to give it a go. Its surprising big at 45mm.
That auction seems to be the cheapest price around. Are you tempted enough?

........ not sure just yet. Such a colorfull watches, like you said, don`t exactly rock my boat but I like the kinda futuristic design and the price. I looked at the others but don`t like the rubber and the fact that is integrated. That X-33 "look-a-like" looks interesting too.

bought this one from one of the deal-a-day sites for $44 shipped. It's a decent watch, or so it seems. The display is negative, which makes it a bit hard to read under some lighting conditions. Funky setup to change or set the display functions, but OK once you get onto the system. And the integrated strap is a negative. It will get on my wrist once in a while, but I don't intend to buy all of the variants.
