I propose the password to be either "password" or "123456".

Define “nuke secrets.” If the volume of information is large enough, you’d have no choice but to put it on a computer. And if you ever need any one to remote-access any of that information, you’d have put that computer on a network. Therefore “Cloud.”

One could certainly envision a separate network that has no physical connection to the internet.

From what I understand, such a separate network is already in place.

Cloud = connected to the Internet.
Network = not necessarily connected to the internet.
(technically not quite right, but I think that's what meant here)

If I can read these "nuke secrets" from my basement it is a mistake.

I don't care how much super magic secret encryption they think they have.

I'm so old I can remember us building the "third largest network" in the world for the Army back in 1982. Around 5,000 devices made it "third largest". There was a colonel who wanted dial-up access. I pointed out that would allow us access from any pay phone in Red Square. So we didn't do dial-up access.

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

There are lots and lots of networks with no connection to the internet.
