I'm surprised this forum doesn't have one of those 'latest purchases' threads... I mean, this is the nerdiest (in the good sense of the word) forum for the most compulsive conneseurs of weird movies on dusty old VHS tapes, and it definitevely NEEDS one of those bragging-threads! So, without further ado, here's my VHS purchases and trades for the last month or so:

Lars, please post some info on the cut status of Just Before Dawn of Mariann.
At least once you get around to viewing it.
And congratulations on grabbing Panther Squad!
How rare is the swedish release?

HunterfromtheFuture: If i'm informed correctly Just Before Dawn was released both cut and uncut and the covers looks exactly the same. Mine appears to the uncut one judging from the first gory murders, haven't watched the whole thing through. Great film!

The swedish release of Panther Squad is by all means piss rare! Haven't even seen it before before I traded myself a copy. But I guess it's not a title that many people are after - it's one for us sad fucks who should know better...

That jap tape of Eaten alive is sweet. Saw it on Ebay some time ago so I guess it's that one....? Now I know this is the wrong thread to be asking this but anyone have knowledge about a jap tape having a crocodile on the cover of that movie?

Thanks. Which one would that be?

Cheers.

I'm quite happy with them all not least GUZOO which I got a bad 5th generation copy of back in the very early days when Western splatter fans were just beginning to discover the Asian splatter movies. Nobody know anything about this except it was very gory. And weird. And it probably still is, I haven't watched it since back then (which is at least 15 yrs ago!). GUZOO is directed by Kazuo 'Gaira' Komizu who also did the Entrails of a Beautiful Woman + Entrails of a Virgin, and of course Living Dead in Tokyo Bay. And as far as I know it has never been released outside of Japan and never on dvd, and needless to say the vhs is rare.
