Hello Cinehound and others,
Sazuma lists up 20 New Star titles, among them Emanuelle Queen Of Sados, and 10 other films listed as Erotic. Do you think they are softcore or hardcore?
Have you seen any of them? Are anyone worth buying?

You also writes about 25-30 greek porn titles from the 80s. Again: Softcore or hardcore? Have you seen any of them? Are anyone worth buying?

Lots of greek comedies are listed on the USA based site. Are some of these funny like say, Fawlty Towers or Big Lebowski, or are they plain stupid, like say Charlie Chaplin or The Three Stooges? (Humour for + 100 year old assclowns on medication, if you know what I mean)

I have Love Camp (Cyprus 77) w. Laura Gemser on video, but must admit I thought it was a bit stupid. Is Emmanuelle-Queen Of Sados any better?

Best regards Bingoboy

P.S. I found Devil's Men 76, Island Of Death 75 and Singapore Sling 90 on several USA and UK shops. And also on Sazuma.

New Star are mostly softcore , there's an Ajita Wilson BJ in one of them , I don't know if you 'd like to see that. The movies are so and so. There's Some good erotic content but not much otherwise. Thats MY opinion. Others may adore them.

The 80s films are hardcore vhs rips. Worth buying? For a non-Greek I think they 'd be undecipherable, in the majority of them you see ugly hairy people having HC sex and telling inside jokes. If you 're very curious you could try one as a sample. But then buy it ? From where? I don't know. Again that's only my view.

For the comedies , if you can't understand the language, it will be difficult to appreciate them . Some of them are sexy in an old-fashioned way.

All in all the language barrier is a hindrance. But I don't mean to sound like I drive people away from buying greek stuff. After all, colectors have more peculiar taste than any everyday cinema fan. I say : by all means, buy some and see for yourself.

New Star films are softcore and most of them are cool. EMANUELLE QUEEN OF SADOS is probably the longer version in the world. I like very much the film THE MARK but the quality is awful, I don't know why. In fact all of them have VHS quality.

The hardcores of the 80s...well, I'm not sure but I think foreigners like them better than most Greek collectors actually...maybe because they find them strange and exotic !!

But the best Greek exploitation films haven't been released officially and this is a shame

I forgot, DEVILS MEN is a great horror film (an UK / Greece co-production), ISLAND OF DEATH is a sick & sexy horror (one of my favourites) and SINGAPORE SLING is a weird & sick arty film shot in b/w

All highly recommended !!

You are wrong Only THE MARK is VHS quality, the rest are really good-looking, sourced from betacam masters. Have you seen their PUSSYCAT SYNDROME disc? That one looks excellent, really sharp and clear.

I think most of them are plain stupid! Humor for 100-year olds on medication

In fact I have them all but I've seen the old VHS versions and didn't even check the DVDs. So I'm completely wrong about them and you did the right thing to warn us about it...

I don't know why I had this opinion about these discs, someone told me that or something...Anyway, it's a nice thing to hear that their quality is really good

Thanks a lot everyone,
Thanks a lot for the input, your help has been invaluable. Next month when I get money, I will buy Island Of Death 75 and Devil's Men 76.
The rest of the greek films will be paused. But I will come back to it later. After those two films I will direct my attention towards other countries.

Best regards Bingoboy

PS. The sentence "assclowns on medication" was not directed against old people in general. But only to describe the worst senile cases around. You know the ones saying: "It's raining outside", then laughing hysterical for 22 min, then 1m silence, and saying "It stopped raining now", then new hysterial laughter for 28 new minutes -kind of guys.
