I found a chronological list of HK new wave movies

The Extras (Yim Ho, 1978)
The Secret (Ann Hui, 1979)
Cops and Robbers (Alex Cheung, 1979)
The Butterfly Murders (Tsui Hark, 1979)
The System (Peter Yung, 1979)
Encore (Clifford Choi, 1980)
The Happenings (Yim Ho, 1980)
House Of the lute (Lau Shing-Hon, 1980)
Dangerous Encouter of the first kind (Tsui Hark, 1980)
We're going to eat you (Tsui Hark, 1980)
The Spooky Bunch (Ann Hui, 1980)
The Enigmatic Case (Johnny To, 1980)
The Sword (Patrick Tam, 1980)
The Beasts (Dennis Yu, 1980)
Man on the Brink (Alex Cheung, 1981)
The Club (Kirk Wong,1981)
Love Massacre (Patrick Tam, 1981)
The Story Of Woo Viet (Ann Hui, 1981)
Father and Son (Allen Fong, 1981)
The Imp (Dennis Yu, 1981)
The Security (Ang-Tong Cheuk, 1981)
The Head Hunter (Lau Shing-Hon, 1982)
Coolie Killer (Terry Tong, 1982)
Marianna (Ang-Tong Cheuk, 1982)
Boat People (Ann Hui, 1982)
Nomad (Patrick Tam, 1982)
Story of Women (Yuen Chau, 1982)
Soul of the wind (Peter Yung, 1982)

to my knowledge only "the Beasts" got a VHS release in the Benelux of the movies listed here. Am I wrong? (I hope so :))

If there already is a topic for this, don't respond to this quenstion, but I would also like to get some English subtitled DVD releases for some of these. Already have the Sword and the Happenings... but most of them only got VCD releases right? ...or wrong?

There's a book on HK new wave movies. I bought it recently but haven't had a chance to read it yet.

THE SPOOKY BUNCH is on YT (I know-I know, shitty youtube, but these films are hard to get as many of them are only on vcd and/or vhs)

You're welcome, Peter. Here's also a link to a thread on dvdmaniacs that ran a few years back. The thread topic was an Asian film club but it kinda turned into a talk about what is new wave film and what isn't. There's some useful info (if nothing else: John Woo is NOT part of the wave!)

Start from post #38 (by Andras who's also a member here, altho we never see him here anymore):
