I purchased my 850 (.22)in July 2008. I immediately converted it to bulk CO2. Unfortunately the smallest group it would shoot at 15 yards was 12 inches. Roald determined it had a bad barrel. Many of the early .22 cal. 850's had bad barrels. He was able to get the barrel replaced and tuned the gun. Roalds tune brought the gun form 624.6 fps to 704.2 with a SD of 1.3. The final conversion was the addition of a JDS airman 13 cu. in. 3000psi input with 1400psi Regulated Output. The velocity with RWS Superdomes is now 829 fps. It is capable of shooting the same hole at 45 yards. The scope is a Bushnell Banner 6-18X50 AO. As you will see in the pictures I added a target turret, scope level, bipod and moded moderator. The ugly area between the tank and the stock was wrapped with foam pipe insulation then covered with heat shrink tubing.

I haven't done a shot count. There was no problem aligning the tank. I did have to remove the fill nipple and gauge to install the tank. It turned out that the barrel was centered between the fill nipple and the gauge.
