There was an offer I couldn't refuse on an 850 on the classifieds the other week. I have been through a few of these so I knew what I was getting into... I had a chance to get out today and do some testing! I had some pretty good results....

Here is the info:

850 in .22 Caliber.
13ci tank
B&A long adaptor
1700/1800 psi regged output... ( I added a few shims to a 1400 reg....)
Dominator spring
Breech port mod
High flow valve mod

I was getting 4 really good mags @ 30fpe. I could squeeze out one more mag if need be.

Found 18.1grn JSB's shooting 870FPS to be very accurate. I was able to shoot quarter size groups at 50 yards all day off the bi-pod. The picture is an 8 shot group. Here are a few pictures!!

It slides on about 1" or so. I'm very happy with the performance. I use to top my 850's with The RIM LDC's but he is no longer in business so went to Mike at TKO. It's more sleek and looks better IMHO. There is no difference in performance. Both do excellent work. TKO was about $12 more expensive. The loudest part about these 850's after the LDC is installed is the hammer and spring inside. I use to put tuners tar on my spring to quite the buzz down, but that really makes a mess of the internals. (it does work well though)

Anybody else do anything like this?

Looks great. Mike does good work.
I'm going to be asking him to take over where Rich left off as soon as the store re-opens
at the first of the year.
Thanks for sharing.
