Hi
Thank you for the recommendation.
We'll be adding a custom field in the Tapatalk Console so the site admin could customize the message for the required pop-up.

The product team is working on a design. I don't have the detail yet but I suppose we could give the option to show default agreement.

In xenforo 1.5.20 go to admin panel and Force privacy agreement or/and terms and rules

So all the users need to agree vía website or they get empty forums in tapatalk with that loged user. I can give my forum url and test user, but its easy to reproduce.

This is not supported - we intend to support features like this not just an add on for a specific system but to make it work for all forums in all systems - while we don’t have the matching features but you can actually change your Welcome Message in the app to include the policy update so your members will be able to see it.

Check out the Tapatalk Console, look for “Welcome Message” section.

@winter @Howdy

On both XF 1.5 och 2.0 users can't login via Tapatalk after the "Force privacy policy agreement" have been activated. So none of our Tapatalk users can access the forum via Tapatalk until they've visited the forum with a web browser and accepted the updated rules/policy first.

This needs to be resolved today. This should have been resolved several days ago. Not after 25/5.....

Every XF board will have the same problem. Users will think that the forum is broken or that there is something wrong with Tapatalk.

Entering a GDRP policy in the welcome message box or a custom box won't solve this problem 🙂. The problem is that the Xenforo "Force privacy policy agreement" won't let users access the forum data unless consent have been given by checking the "Force privacy policy agreement" checkbox. It's a database value somewhere that needs to be updated in order to grant the user access. Tapatalk needs to set this value for the user if users are going to be given access to the forum.

Agreed.  Implementing the forced opt-in breaks tapatalk.  Some are of the opinion that you must indeed force the users to opt-in.

This is a very GPDR specific item so I don't see why it wouldn't be something you would consider a bug vs an unsupported feature.
