I've raised this query before (topic 'Missing 'Reply' Subject Headers' 19 Aug 2017) and as part of Case 12078 (raised 2 Sep 2017). In summary, the migration from YUKU failed to bring over subject/reply headers (as opposed to topic headers). For my board, this was a critical loss of data as many unique references and titles were lost, rendering the subsequent posts meaningless. I was told that they could not be brought over, and attempted to gain one-off access to my old Yuku board on the server, so as to manually recreate the information on TT. This was denied me.
However....as part of some recent Google searches I discovered that the Tapatalk Search results were being indexed by bots, leading to some duplication of results. I have raised this with you here and you (winter) said you were going to alter that. Which is fine. But crucially, what I have noticed, is that the old REPLY subject headers appear in the search results. Clicking on the result itself brings up the reply text, but without the header. So it would seem to me that the Reply Subject Header Field has indeed been captured and migrated, it just does not appear to have been enabled in the functionality.
Could you investigate please and provide me with a solution to retrieving this information, either on a permanent basis or by a custom extract, so that I can recreate the data manually within my replies. I would re-iterate, this is critical for me.
As an example, I searched for the phrase 'RIC Mag' within my board, using the term [ "RIC Mag" site irishconstabulary.com ]
This gives 3 pages of hits, most of which concern TOPIC headers. But one hit takes you to the TT Search Results link" arrowed here:
Clicking on this link gives further hits, each showing the exact Subject Header that you had 'lost' in migration, and that I need access to. The fields I need are all arrowed (for example 1 to 3).
But when I click on each of the arrowed links (1 to 3), all I get is the actual reply, not the header field. The texts can be meaningless without that information - see below:
Thank you for contacting Tapatalk!
I'll check with the tech team.
