Lost Account Preventing Forum Migration

Someone prior to me had setup Tapatalk on my forum and I have no information on that account.  I am trying to setup Tapatalk again on the same forum (it was first setup several years ago so surely it is out of date) but since there's an account out there already pointing to this forum I cannot continue.  How can I either have the old account deleted or gain access to it to make it up-to-date?

I cannot open a support ticket because the migration is stopped at the forum URL and there is no Open Support Ticket link available at that point of the account setup.

Thanks.

We are in about similar situation: Our Model RR club used NW54 years ago, but the forum was forgotten. The person who set up the club's NW54 forum is not known to present club board. I wonder if there is any way of at least retrieving the data on that dormant forum for club archives.

Hi
Sounds like you want to have a pre-listed site transferred to your account so you can access the Tapatalk console again to manage your site on Tapatalk. If that's the case, please follow the following steps to set up site ownership verification file.

Please provide a link to a simple "verify_me.txt" or similar file in your websites root containing your request above in order to verify the authenticity of your request.
i.e. yousiteurl.com/verify_me.txt

In the text file, please insert the username and / or e-mail you wish to use to login to Tapatalk Dashboard going forward.

Once verification is complete we will be able to transfer the requested site to your account.

Thanks for contacting Tapatalk and your understanding on this matter: Account Safety is a paramount priority.

We can still migrate the board if that's what you are interested. PM me the old N54 link. I'll ask the tech team to look into it.

Brilliant solution Howdy, I have sent you a PM with the link per your instructions.
