The instructions are brief, but here they are:
Guide to the Tamagotchi Mini
The Tamagotchi Mini is a very simple virtual pet, and it's perfect for a busy person. It's easiest to think of it as a classic
Tamagotchi that's been cropped down to just the window where the character lives. There are no menus, no games, no shop,
no stats. The Tamagotchi Mini eats food, eats snacks, poops, gets sick, and sleeps. They are fun to watch as they zing around
the screen, and very low-maintenance. They don't get increasingly demanding over time, either.
How to Care for Your Mini
Every now and then, click the A button. If your Tamagotchi needs something, the A button will activate the function it needs.
These functions are:
There are two feeding choices, a meal (which looks a bit like sushi) and a snack (a wrapped piece of candy). It is not possible
to overfeed your Mini, or to give it too many snacks. If it needs food or a snack, it will eat. If it doesn't, it won't. So whenever
the feed options are activated, try feeding both a meal and a snack. Sometimes Mini needs both, and you'll save yourself a click later.
A simple A-click cleans up after your Tama. There's no way to put your Mini on the potty, all you do is clean up.
You get a nice little thank-you trill for doing so, too.
When your Tama is sick, there's a skull on the screen. A-click to make it all better.
When Mini is a baby, it will go to sleep at 8 p.m. and awaken at 9 a.m.
When it is an adult it will go to sleep at 10 p.m. and awaken at 9 a.m.
At bedtime, Mini will beep a few times to tell you it's time to turn out the lights.
A-click to activate the light switch, A-click to move from ON to OFF, and B-click.
Remember, if you A-click and nothing happens, your Mini does not need anything.
Mini turns from a baby to an adult after 24 hours.
Mine was a regular adult for seven days, and then changed into a special adult.
Seven days after that, it returned to Tama Planet.
Press and hold A, then click B to pause. Mini will have a ! mark over its head while paused.
Press A and C together to activate the sound menu.
B-click to activate the clock, then A and C at the same time to enter clock set mode.
Disclaimer: I wrote this guide after raising only one generation on the Mini. I got a Mametchi who evolved into a Gingirotchi.
The behavior of the other characters may vary in terms of temperament, lifespan, and sleep-wake time.
