I am currently doing research on Devilgotchi and mainly how to get different characters within Devilgotchi.
I am sure you all notice that if you are trying to do perfect care or nearly perfect care, you will always get Devilgotchi/ Zukidebitchi (kid) to Bakedebirutchi (teen) to Debiru Dori (adult).
I have read all the "Halloween Group Hatches" out there. In order to get different characters, you have to take bad cares for your devilgotchi. During 2009 hatches, Ra mentioned, "keep DP 55 to 65 or 50 to 60, misses 4 or 5 cares, you will get Oyaji Debiru as teen and then Kobodebitchi as adult. What do you mean by misses 4 or 5 cares? Tama freak and Ra are the only ones whom got Kobodetichi aka. Pumpkin Devil.
I also notice that if this is your first time to run your devilgotchi. You will always end up Bakedeirutch as teen and Debiru Dori as adult. I think so because I recently got new black devilgotchi, I kept my dp 55 to 65 and fill both meters up until device calls me. I still ended up Bakedeirutch as teen and Debiru Dori as adult. Same thing happens to my friend. That is why I am asking you that when you say misses 4 or 5 cares, what do you mean by that? Thank you for your help.
The devilgotchi calls you to shake hands, and ignoring this counts as a care miss. Ignoring calls for food and happiness also count as care misses. The misses are individual.
Last year I experimented a little with the Devilgotchi growth patterns, and posted a lot of the results in my log. I found that the devilgotchi only evolves depending on its DP, and hunger and happiness do not affect growth (not necessarily true for the secret characters - I never got this far). I was able to get Kobodebitchi somewhere along the line, and I made a rather rudimentary growth chart with my findings:
I chose 35DP and 75DP at random when I first set out, and it seemed to work. I tested all the growths on my chart several times, and it was always reproducible. Maybe give it a go.
