Sorry I couldn't make it to the August meeting at the Matchbox Museum in New Jersey, but I was needed to help my parents move into an assisted living facility which meant moving 12 years of accumulated "stuff" from the cottage they'd been living in at the retirement community into storage or, if there was a place for it, into their tiny new apartment. My younger brother, my wife and I filled a dumpster with a lot of the "stuff" that they won't ever have a need for, and got together a lot of "stuff" for donation. More "stuff" was loaded into our cars to come home with us for use and safekeeping. We had a total of 2 weeks to get the job done, but all three of us work during the week leaving the weekends to do the move.
So anyhow, how was the meeting and, more to the point, how was the museum. I was REALLY looking forward to seeing the place, but family has to come first. Photos and descriptions would really be appreciated. Thanks, guys.
