I installed the rim/tires from the Jada Monte Carlo on the Maisto Lincoln. Maybe a little larger rim that I'd prefer, but still roll decent and look better than stock.

If I recall it was not one of the easiest to find in its day. I know I had one at one time but went elsewhere as I downsized. As for the wheel swap - not my cup of tea on this one.

That's great! Love the lighting details. Really makes the casting pop, too.

Yeah me too! I cannot find it either! :duh: I am sure I was lost on eBay for an hour searching through the Maisto listings. I did see other cool stuff though.

They were pretty tough to find back in the day. I stumbled across mine at Wallyworld back around '96-97. Never did see another one.

That wheelswap looks amazing.

I wish I would have bought more of them back in the 90's. At that time, I considered the Maisto's cheap and disposable, so I had no hesitancy about taking one apart for customization. Knowing how scarce they are now, I probably wouldn't have done the earlier wheel swap (with Johnny Lightning wheels). I never really liked the way those looked or fit- which led to the recent swap above.
