I am intrigued about the popcorn that Misha and West had. In Australia I haven't seen anything like it except the stuff you put in the microwave or the usual popping corn.

My question really is, is that Kraft Puffed Popcorn already 'popped' and ready to eat? Looked like it was in the shape of a cube.

When Misha was preparing it to put it in the oven, did he put the popcorn in a bowl of melted butter to mix, then into a pan and into the oven?

Those were Kraft's Jet-Puffed marshmallows. I don't know why West kept calling it popcorn.

My three year old calls banana flavored popsicles "Nannies," so you never know with little ones. They come up with nicknames all the time for things like that and all we can do is go with it. Isis declares that my grown up shows like Doctor Who and Supernatural are "blue shows" and her Princess shows are "Pink shows." Even if I watched SN in front of her-which for the scary content that doesn't happen- she would say, "You can't watch your Blue shows, Mommy. Let me watch a Pink show, please!" LOL.

Thank you for that. Marshmallows make more sense now.

What did he put it in and place it in the oven??

My son when he was young used to call cordial 'ettle'. Have no idea why. Also we have millipedes and he used to call them 'archies'.

Kids do come up with some lovely names for various items in the kitchen.

I love the names kids pick for things. My oldest used to call Ducks "Cack Cacks," her way of trying to say "Quack Quacks." You smile every time they say things like that. :)

While I am asking cooking stuff - last question, I hope.

Brownies are an American food origination (I think), and of course here in Australia I have just recently started making them. Got a nice recipe for Fruchoc (Australian confectionary) Brownies which are very delicious.

Question is - are Brownies supposed to be soft like a cake texture, or firm like a biscuit texture? Or perhaps a combo of both?

Some mix rises quite high, while other mixes are not so high when cooked.

Thank you for your help everyone.

Definitely not hard. Closer to cake, but not as soft. The best brownies are moist and chewy.

Good luck w/your brownies!
